Review: VIICode O2M Oxygen Eye Mask

IMG_4235

As a sufferer of dark under eye circles and bags, I jumped at the chance to try out VIICode’s O2M Oxygen Eye Mask. Each box contains six masks which have “unique oxygen-producing plant extracts which activate a cell’s oxygen capacities and help to reduce dark circles, fine lines and bags.” Sounds good to me.

Interestingly, the formula originated in the 18th century, when beauty legendary, Byrne Victor (1758 – 1826) invented the “ageless mystery.” Queen Josephine (wife of Napoleon) wanted the product all to herself so it was kept a secret until she died.

The mask has a cool gel-like texture. After washing your face, simply stick the two pieces underneath your eyes. The mask works while you sleep for eight hours, so put it on before bed. After eight hours of rest, I removed my mask (which stayed in place all night) to find that the skin under my eyes was brighter and less puffy.

I’ve tried many different eye creams, and none of them have worked as well or as quickly as this mask. The mask was a little uncomfortable when I first put it on, but after a little while of getting used to how it felt, I was able to sleep normally. I definitely recommend giving this product a try.  It’s recommended application is two to three times per week, and you’ll need three boxes to complete a full treatment. My favorite feature of this product, is that unlike other masks, you don’t have to set a timer and then wash it off. When I removed the mask in the morning, there was no sticky residue left over on my skin.
