Fall Transitional Style

Dress: Opening Ceremony | Sneakers: Skechers | Bag: Henri Bendel | Earrings: Charming Charlie

Can you believe that it’s almost September? Me either! It’s true that time really does go by faster each year as you get older. It feels like just yesterday that I graduated college. Now, the weather is finally starting to cool down, indicating that fall is near. I wore pants last week for the first time in a couple of months! That’s ok because I’m getting tired of sweating and shaving my legs every day.

You know that I’m a big fan of long-sleeve dresses. They’re comfortable, easy to wear, and I don’t have to worry about sun blocking my arms. This one from Opening Ceremony is one of my favorites. I’ve ordered it twice from Rent the Runway now. It’s appropriate for work and the print is so fun. It’s the perfect transitional piece.

Keep reading for more details on this look, including my sneakers and new diamond ring. I’ve linked my favorite fall transitional style items at the end of this post.

Fall Transitional StyleSkechers Flex Appeal

I seriously live in my Skechers Flex Appeal sneakers. They’re comfy enough to walk for miles in and look cute with dresses. I’m thinking about getting a second pair in pink.

Fall Transitional Style

Chicago is the prettiest city, in rain or shine. I love both fall and winter, although I get so much more walking in during the summer. And, I love seeing the horse carriages trotting along in my neighborhood. I kind of feel like I’m on vacation in my own city during summer.

My ring is from Fascinating Diamonds. I’ve never seen anyone wear a similar style. The setting is so unique and beautiful. I strongly believe that every girl needs a little sparkle in her life. Shop here.
