Recently, I went to an event where I was introduced to local Chicago handbag brand, Holly & Tanager. Their bags are sleek and functional, as all good bags should be. The Italian leather is top notch too. My favorite part is that it can be worn as either a cross body or a clutch – it’s two bags in one.
The weather is finally starting to cool down, indicating that fall is near. I wore pants last week for the first time in a couple of months! That’s ok because I’m getting tired of sweating and shaving my legs every day. I’ve linked my favorite fall transitional style items.
Fall has always been my favorite time of the year. New fashion, pumpkin spice, perfect weather. This is the first year that I actually won’t be going back to college since I graduated – mixed emotions. In any case, I’ve partnered with some amazing brands to show you how to kick off the school year/fall season in style.
My blog content has been a little light lately and there’s good reason for that. I graduated college and got my first full-time job! Being done with school feels weird, but very good. I want to share some quick reflections and lessons from my first month after graduation.
What’s your wildest dream? Mine is to wear a new designer outfit every single day. I know – don’t judge. There’s just something so great about wearing something new. And, that great feeling goes away on the second wearing. It really does – you know I’m right! I discovered how to make my weird dream come true and it’s A LOT less expensive than you may think.
You may have already seen this on my Instagram, but MAC recently sent me possibly the best blogger mail ever ~ 100 lipsticks. After trying on (a lot of) them, I’ve found some favorite shades. I usually choose more subtle colors, but when you get ~100 lipsticks in the mail, there’s no better excuse to try a few shades that are out of your comfort zone.
A couple weekends ago, I attended an Erin Condren event at Dylan’s Candy Bar in Chicago with some of my blogger besties. Before my invite came for the event, I (surprisingly) hadn’t heard of Erin Condren. The brand is known for their LifePlanner™ and also has tons of other products to inspire organization and creativity. And, everything is SO cute and girly. The planners are customizable and I’m obsessed with how mine turned out.
I used to have horrible acne during my teenage years. I spent much of high school hiding under layers of makeup and trying out every product available to me. Luckily, my pimples have mostly subsided as I’m about to turn 22. However, they still pop up every now and then. I’ll probably never have completely clear skin. Over the years, I’ve learned how to manage those pesky pimples that like to appear at the most inconvenient times. Keep reading for my top tips and favorite products that will help you beat adult acne like a champ.
There’s never a bad time to freshen up one of the most staple parts of your wardrobe. There are some great new jean pieces to shop this season.
