Nothing conveys elegance like a luxury timepiece, so I was thrilled when Louis Moinet asked me to submit an entry to a contest to celebrate their new watch. If you aren’t familiar with Louis Moinet, I’ll give you a little history behind the independent Swiss watch brand. The brand is named after Louis Moinet, the famous watchmaker of the 19th century who invented the chronograph. To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the chronograph, the company is releasing a new timepiece, named the Memoris.
The Memoris is the first chronograph-watch in history. It’s such a breakthrough, the watch has been nominated for the very prestigious Grand Prix d’Horlogerie of Geneva.

Memoris comes in 18K pink gold, 18K white gold rhodium-plated mainplate and 18K white gold-blued mainplate. I absolutely love the juxtaposition of rose gold with the black band. Because uniqueness is crucial, there are only 3 limited edition and 60 copies by set.

What do you think of the Memoris? Stunning, right?
