As soon as the weather starts getting warmer, I feel the need to buy new clothes like crazy to get ready for spring. After the long Chicago winter, my warm weather wardrobe from last year needs some refreshing. Last week, I purged my closet and sent a ton of stuff to ThredUp. They make it super easy to get rid of unwanted clothes and accessories, and get a little cash back. All you do is put your stuff in a clean up bag that they send you and they take care of all the selling. I use ThredUp to clean my closet every few months.
After making room in my closet, I browse some of my favorite sites to check out what’s new. When it comes to trendier pieces, I don’t like to spend too much, so everything here is under $100. Here’s what I’ve added to my cart – and may or may not purchase ;).
Topshop:
I’m still loving everything ruffled. This winter trend carries over to spring in the form of this carefree dress, and also this top.
There are always so many good skirts. I would wear this striped skirt with either a t-shirt or dressed up with a silk tank and heels.
This little floral bag is so fun, but still wearable. Would you believe it’s under $70?!
Express:
I would be perfectly happy if the off-the-shoulder trend never dies. This ombre blouse is so pretty.
I have zero self control when I see a good floral dress. Floral, lace, and long-sleeve are some of my favorite dress qualities.
Nordstrom:
Designer look-a-like flats to pair with cropped jeans and dresses. Shop these or these.
