The changing of seasons is always a perfect excuse to do a little damage on your credit card (or at least it’s my excuse). There’s so much amazing spring fashion in stores right now. It’s time to pack up your winter coats and dreary hues, then douse your wardrobe and home in some cheery new prints and colors. Here are my top five must-haves, so that you don’t do too much damage.
1. Fun sleeves!
You’ve probably noticed that fun sleeve details are a major trend for this spring/summer. I jumped on board immediately and now I can’t get enough of this trend. Shop all my favorites at the end of this post.
2. New arrivals from Emily & Meritt for PBteen
Emily & Meritt (from the Current/Elliot brand) came out with a home line for PBteen probably about a year ago. They have the most feminine and fun bedding, lamps, and more. I seriously would buy everything if I could afford it. New arrivals for spring are here and they don’t disappoint. This pretty palm print pillow is an easy home update for spring . It also comes in a blanket version.
3. dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse
I used to shampoo my hair every single day, which yes I know, is not good for colored hair. But, dry shampoo never worked for me – my hair is so oily! dpHUE’s Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse was a game changer. It really cleans your hair, without stripping it of natural oils. I use it every other day in the shower instead of shampoo. You can find it at Ulta here.
4. My newest Bendel baby
I’ve been eyeing this little guy for a while and just gave in this weekend, so you’ll see it on the blog soon. The otter brown color is so pretty and so versatile. It’s also the perfect size for a small bag. I love that it’s simple, but has some cute little details. Shop it here – also comes in mint green, white, and black. And, it’s under $300!
5. Gingham
I think you saw this one coming, but really, it’s my favorite trend of the season. I’m usually not that into prints, but this one is so girly and unexpected that it’s hard to resist. And when I say hard to resist, I mean I now have a dress, pants, and top, and I’m sure I’ll be buying more.
