This past Saturday, I attended Simply Stylist Chicago, a day long conference for fashion and beauty bloggers. Some of the speakers included James Nohr, founder of Fohr Card; and actress Cara Santana. Fohr Card is a great resource for bloggers to connect with brands; I definately recommend signing up. At the event, I had my hair curled courtesy of TheGlamApp, an app that delivers a hair stylist or makeup artist to your home, sort of like the Uber for beauty.

My look for the day included a crop top and shorts, both by Lucy Paris which is a new brand that I love. Their stuff sort of reminds me of Topshop. My t-strap flats are by Topshop and are a great, comfier alternative to wearing heels.

Also, this is the blog debut of my new hair color! It’s sort of a dark brown with red highlights. What do you think? Leave a comment and let me know.
