Fall is here and it’s time to start shopping! The coziest and prettiest textures for fashion and home come with this season. I’m actually trying to cut back on my shopping, so I’m just splurging on a few fun updates for my wardrobe and apartment – specifically shoes and pumpkins. Here’s everything that I plan on buying or have already bought. Most of the items are very affordable.
Recently, I went to an event where I was introduced to local Chicago handbag brand, Holly & Tanager. Their bags are sleek and functional, as all good bags should be. The Italian leather is top notch too. My favorite part is that it can be worn as either a cross body or a clutch – it’s two bags in one.
The weather is finally starting to cool down, indicating that fall is near. I wore pants last week for the first time in a couple of months! That’s ok because I’m getting tired of sweating and shaving my legs every day. I’ve linked my favorite fall transitional style items.
Fall has always been my favorite time of the year. New fashion, pumpkin spice, perfect weather. This is the first year that I actually won’t be going back to college since I graduated – mixed emotions. In any case, I’ve partnered with some amazing brands to show you how to kick off the school year/fall season in style.
My blog content has been a little light lately and there’s good reason for that. I graduated college and got my first full-time job! Being done with school feels weird, but very good. I want to share some quick reflections and lessons from my first month after graduation.
What’s your wildest dream? Mine is to wear a new designer outfit every single day. I know – don’t judge. There’s just something so great about wearing something new. And, that great feeling goes away on the second wearing. It really does – you know I’m right! I discovered how to make my weird dream come true and it’s A LOT less expensive than you may think.
There’s never a bad time to freshen up one of the most staple parts of your wardrobe. There are some great new jean pieces to shop this season.
This past weekend, I was invited to be a host on See Sparks Fly – The Odyssey’s first fireworks cruise of the season. This was my first time on an Odyssey dinner cruise, and my friends and I had the best time. We were served a delicious three-course meal, then headed to the upper deck to take in a spectacular fireworks show. An open bar with specialty cocktails and a little bit of dancing made the night even better.
How do I stay productive as a busy college student and blogger? The simple answer is a mix of planning and lots of coffee from Dunkin Donuts.
