Top: Express // Jeans: Principle Denim // Heels: c/o Marc Fisher // Bag: Henri Bendel
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you already know that the dressed-up jeans look is my go-to. And, yes, these are the same Principle Denim jeans that I wore in the my last post. They’re perfect for showing off these fun Marc Fisher heels. These photos were taken in the lobby area at the Conrad Chicago Hotel. The floor to ceiling windows have panoramic views of the city, making it the perfect spot for a photo shoot or just relaxing with friends. During the day, it’s also a nice quiet space to get some work done. Read on for more details on this look.
I chose these Marc Fisher heels because of all the cool cutouts and pale blush color. They’re a versatile heel that is casual enough to wear during the day. They’re also comfortable and easy to walk in because you can lace them up to the perfect fit. Full disclosure – I got a pedicure right before these close up shots of my feet were taken. Can it please be sandal weather in Chicago already? I try not to buy too many printed things because I find that I get tired of wearing them more quickly than with solid colors. However, I made an exception for this top because I couldn’t resist the girly floral print and sexy strap details. Henri Bendel’s Waldorf Chain Party bag is the perfect day-to-night bag, plus I love its name! The chain strap length is adjustable. It’s more casual when worn as a crossbody.
