This past weekend, I was invited to be a host on See Sparks Fly – The Odyssey’s first fireworks cruise of the season. This was my first time on an Odyssey dinner cruise, and my friends and I had the best time. We were served a delicious three-course meal, then headed to the upper deck to take in a spectacular fireworks show. An open bar with specialty cocktails and a little bit of dancing made the night even better.

Dress: Fab’rik | Heels: Marc Fisher | Bag: Henri Bendel
The dress code for the evening was cocktail attire. I chose this dress from Fab’rik in Wicker Park. I thought it was kind of cruise-inspired with the palm leaves. I paired it with my denim Marc Fisher platform heels because I wanted to be comfortable and not fall down the stairs!
This wedge salad with bacon and sun-dried tomatoes was my favorite part of dinner. There was a great menu to choose from. I ordered the short rib for my second course, which was also delicious. The main course was followed by a decadent dessert buffet.

We had the ideal spot to view the Navy Pier fireworks.
Cheers to the start of summer!
I definitely recommend booking a fireworks cruise aboard The Odyssey for your next special occasion or just a fun weekend with friends. Thank you to The Odyssey for having me!
