Nanette Lepore dress | DesignerShare Chanel bag | Vince Camuto boots (similar)
I spent last weekend at PoshFest, which is Poshmark’s annual conference. This year, it was held in Chicago and I was fortunate to be invited as a guest of RXBar. I just recently made my first Poshmark sale (shop my Poshmark closet here), so I felt a little out of place amongst all of the amazing ladies who have sold tons of items and some who even re-sell clothes full-time. But, it was a fun and inspiring weekend nonetheless. Read on for details on this look.
I know what you’re thinking…No, I didn’t splurge on a new Chanel bag. This classy bag is mine just for the month, courtesy of DesignerShare – a peer-to-peer marketplace for women to rent out their designer pieces. The company is based in Chicago! It’s a great option if you want to test run a bag before you invest. I’ve been loving this classic little tote. It had plenty of room to fit my camera and other essentials during PoshFest. I wore it on both Saturday and Sunday.
As for the dress, this isn’t a color that I usually gravitate towards, but I really love the purple and black lace together. And, Nanette Lepore clothes fit me so well!
I chose to wear these sock booties because they’re much comfier than regular heels and I had a long day ahead at PoshFest. This pair is from last year (although I found them on sale here), but the sock boot trend is still going strong this fall. I linked some similar options at the end of this post. This versatile style is a great buy this season.
This wall at PoshFest made for the perfect photo op. Do you guys sell your old clothes? Are you on Poshmark? If so, give me a follow!
