Parker dress; Stuart Weitzman boots; Henri Bendel bag
The holidays are officially here. It’s my favorite time of the year for many reasons – one of them being the fashion. It’s the season of holiday parties and events. There are so many occasions to dress up and have fun. I have my eye on tons of amazing dresses from Rent the Runway and this ruffled number is up first. I paired this dress with my trusty over-the-knee boots to make it a little more casual. It’s the perfect look to take you from desk to drinks. In fact, I wore this exact outfit to work then straight to a hotel opening event. No time to waste! I’ve linked more of my favorite party dresses at the end of this post.
Fun ruffles make this simple dress perfect for a night out. I’m all about sequins and sparkles this time of year, but sometimes I just want to be super comfortable, especially for a long day. This long-sleeve dress is flowy and comfy all night long. My over-the-knee boots are dressy enough for most events I attend, but so much comfier than heels because they’re flat. Whenever there’s an out for wearing heels, you bet I’ll take it.
A solid dress calls for a printed bag. This one is so pretty with Burgundy/wine shades which is my go-to color scheme in the winter.
If you’re wondering if this is my house, I really wish it was. Bowtiful Life and I had a little photo shoot at Restoration Hardware. Everything there is serious goals. Someday my living room will look like this. If you live in Chicago and haven’t been to RH yet, you must check it out. Put your name in for brunch, then go exploring.
Anyone else love this time of the year as much as I do?
