I know what you’re thinking – finally, a new outfit post! My blog content has been light lately, but I’m reprioritizing my time and making it my new year’s resolution to do more photoshoots. It’s been so damn cold here in Chicago that outdoor shoots are nearly impossible. Luckily, I live down the street from the beautiful Conrad Hotel. It happens to be one of my favorite spots for taking photos (see this post from last year) and they also do a killer brunch. Ok, moving on to what you came here for…
Everyone has been wearing white boots this season or at least it feels that way to me. I had to jump on this trend bandwagon because they’re just too cute to pass up. These patent leather ones are by Sam Edelman – no longer available unfortunately, but I’ve linked a bunch of similar and affordable styles at the end of this post. I love how they really brighten up an outfit in the winter. They’re edgy, but very wearable. I found that pointier styles with a higher heel are more flattering on the foot. You lose some level of comfort when the toe is pointier, but these ones really are pretty comfortable as far as heeled boots go.

Jewelry: My watch is by Arvo and earrings are by Landon Lacey Jewelry who is based out of Chicago. Everything is handmade and super affordable. These earrings go with everything. I’ve been wearing them a ton.
My little trunk bag is by Henri Bendel, although it’s no longer available (sad). I found a sort of similar style here.
This sweater dress is cozy, yet office appropriate. Perfection!
