Tanya Taylor dress | INC heels
As soon as I saw this dress at the Rent the Runway store in Chicago, I knew I had to wear it in a blog shoot. I think it might be the prettiest thing I’ve ever worn and it made me feel amazing. I love the fit and flare shape and the gorgeous embroidery on the bodice. Tanya Taylor is one of my favorite brands available on Rent the Runway. All of her dresses and tops are so feminine and well-made.
Normally, this designer would be way out of my price range. The dress I’m wearing retails for over $1,000! But that’s my favorite part of my Rent the Runway Unlimited membership. I can play with designer brands that I wouldn’t otherwise have access to. It’s like a whole new world. And yes an $1,000 dress feels so much better than an $100 one. I wrote an entire blog post about my Rent the Runway Unlimited experience that you can read here. But, if you still prefer shopping the old fashioned way, then I’ve linked some of my favorite midi dresses (in every price range) at the end of this post.
Midi dresses are so comfortable. I used to be afraid of them, but Rent the Runway has so many midi styles that I had to try some out. I’m hooked now.
This fun little bag is from Henri Bendel. It’s inspired by a Prada style. Sadly, it’s no longer available. But Henri Bendel has tons of other crossbody styles. Their bags are my absolute favorite. The prices are very reasonable (on par with Rebecca Minkoff) but the quality far exceeds that of other mid-range designer brands.
Kendra Scott earrings.
