Christmas time in Chicago makes me so happy. All of the lights downtown are so pretty and I love that the hotels go all out with decorations. The Waldorf Chicago served as the perfect backdrop for this shoot.
I love dressing up for holiday parties but I’m always concerned about comfort and I get tired of wearing heels to events. That’s why I’m excited to have found the perfect boots that are both festive and comfy. Red boots are in this season and are one of my favorite trends for the holidays. They’re fun with dresses. I went for a monochromatic look here. Or they can add a pop of color to a neutral outfit if that’s more your style.
My boots are by SAS Shoes. I love that they’re one of the few shoe brands that are still made in the U.S. Keep reading to learn more.
I’m wearing the Simi boot in Wine. They come in navy and black as well if you’re still not convinced on the red. I love the subtle shimmer and leopard print. Best of all, these boots are so comfortable. I wear them all day long and my feet are still happy.
This wrap dress is by Slate & Willow from Rent the Runway. I always love the flattering effect of vertical stripes.
My ‘A’ necklace is from E3 Collection which is a store located at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago. I have been wearing it with everything lately.
My velvet bag by Rebecca Minkoff. It’s from a couple years ago but as you can see, I still love wearing it for the holiday season. It’s no longer available but a black velvet bag is a fun yet classic holiday accessory. I love this similar version from Henri Bendel.
Thanks to SAS Shoes for gifting me these boots! Shop my boots here and the rest of my look below.
