You may have seen my previous outfit post featuring these Ilse Jacobsen boots. Now that I’m back in Chicago with plenty of snow and freezing temperatures, I was really able to test the limits of these boots. I’ve been wearing them nonstop for the past few weeks and I’m hooked. My feet stay warm even when it’s zero degrees outside, literally. I don’t even need to wear warm socks. And they’re also the best looking snow/rain boots that I’ve seen compared to everyone else’s Hunters and Sorel’s. I love how feminine and flattering the style is to my legs.
If you’re located anywhere with harsh winters or rain, I highly recommend these boots. If you’re in the Chicago area, you can try a pair on at Jayne Boutique at the Forest Park, La Grange or Highland Park store. There are two different heights and many more colors as well. I’m wearing the Rub 15 style in Inidgo.
This Topshop jacket is another one of my winter staples this season. I love the pop of color it provides, plus it’s surprisingly warm for the price. It’s from Topshop’s SNO line, so it has a bunch of cool features like inside pockets and a snap to keep the hood in place when it’s super windy (which is most of the time in Chicago).
