Polka dots are sticking around for fall. I wouldn’t even consider this a trend since the print has been a classic forever, but there are a plethora of fun polka dot items this season nonetheless. And I’m not complaining. Polka dots are basically a neutral especially when they’re this subtle in black and white. I love this dress because it’s really simple and a great update to your LBD collection. It’s a piece you’ll be able to wear again and again.
The styling possibilities are truly endless.
I picked up this dress at Francesca’s while shopping at Woodfield Mall. I actually bought it during the summer so this exact style is no longer available, but I’ve linked tons of similar options at the end of this post. I wore this dress during the summer and now I’m wearing it with boots for fall. I love dresses that are all seasons.
I love anything that cinches at the waist for a flattering effect – especially with a feminine bow.
I actually don’t wear black that often. I love color. So I decided to brighten up this look with white boots and a colorful bucket bag. Seriously I can’t stop wearing my white boots. I’ve worn these ones to death – the heels are really gross now. You know it was a worthwhile purchase when you literally wear something out. I just bought a second pair that’s more casual. The ones pictured here are from last season (sorry!) so no longer available but this pair is strikingly similar.
This bag was gifted to me by Sometime and I love it. Purple is THE color for fall so why not try it out with an affordable bag – this one is under $100! It has my initials engraved near the bottom in really small gold font. Such a fun, personal touch.
